About this experience
The Mapuche are the indigenous people of southern Chile and Argentina, with a rich culture that has survived despite centuries of pressure. This respectful, community-led experience offers a genuine connection with Mapuche traditions as they are lived today. Visit a traditional ruka (house), listen to ancient stories and legends, learn about medicinal plants and weaving traditions, and share a meal prepared with ancestral recipes. This is not a museum exhibit - it's a living culture, and your hosts are proud to share their heritage with respectful visitors.
